Koolmax UK has been at the forefront of the British commercial refrigeration sector for more than 50 years. Our UK roots stretch back to 1967, when Interlevin Refrigeration established itself as a leading importer and wholesaler of professional commercial refrigeration and catering products through a network of distributors in the UK and Ireland. In 2018, the Koolmax Group acquired Interlevin and launched the Koolmax UK brand, offering the same quality products and services our customers expect.

Based in Castle Donington near Derby we are ideally placed for distribution of goods over the whole of the UK, Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The Koolmax Group have a 17,000m² head office in Viborg, Denmark, which houses our warehouse, testing laboratory, branding facilities, spare part centre and one of our group showrooms.

Our ambition is to grow organically and through acquisitions to increase our supplier base and improve our logistical set-up in Europe.

This will allow us to serve our customers even better, helping them to sell more and grow their businesses with the latest cutting-edge commercial refrigeration products.

Koolmax A/S was founded in 1987 by the Christensen family in Viborg, Denmark, where the headquarters is still located today.

The facilities in Viborg include 17,000 square metre warehousing, offices, showroom, testing facilities, spare part centre, and an in-house branding department.

The 30-year old privately owned company Nosreti Velkoobchod was acquired by the Koolmax GROUP August 2020. As of January 1, 2022 it was renamed to Koolmax CZ.

Koolmax CZ operate out of Ostrava in the Czech Republic. They have a market leading position in the Czech Republic but also a strong position in the Slovak market.

Today we are approx. 40 employees.

Warehouse is 4,000 square metres in Ostrava.

Koolmax BE is based in Sint Truiden, Belgium and Koolmax FR in Châbons near Lyon, France.

With these two companies, we have a stronger position in the Benelux countries and France. And we have an additional 15 000 square metres of warehouse.

Horeca Global Solutions covers Spain and Portugal in cooperation with Koolmax A/S.

Horeca Global Solutions is based in Barcelona in Spain, and is delivering its products from 2 warehouses close to Barcelona and 1 in the Canary Islands.

Horeca Global Solutions is a subsidiary of Eurofred, a market leader in air conditioning and HVAC with a European footprint.

The company Eureka was acquired by the Koolmax Group in July 2024.

The company operates out of the warehouse and offices in Emsdetten, Germany, covering the German market. Here we are specialized in branding and have our own branding facilities as well as spare part facilities.

Serrco is a Dutch company specialising in professional beverage coolers which joined the Koolmax Group in March 2025.

Serrco is based in the Netherlands, in Etten-Leur, and has its own offices and warehouse. Serrco is a strong and widely recognised brand in the hospitality and catering market and they will continue to focus on high-end beverage coolers.
